Hilarious Headline: "Teens Use Secret Sexting Language to Hide Activities"

This might be just about the most hilarious headline I've seen in a long time!

Thank you Fox News Denver for warning parents that, "If you think your child isn't doing it, it may [be] because your teen is working hard to K-P-C (keep parents clueless) by using a secret sexting language."

I can't believe there isn't anything better to report on.

What do you think of this secret "sexting" language?

All I could think was: “How in the world do they manage to remember all that?”.

“I can’t believe there isn’t anything better to report on.”

I guess you don’t know how serious a problem sexting is either.

There are now two *confirmed* cases of suicide in relation to sexting, because these young women were tormented in their school. For the one I recently watched a story on, they harassed her for more than a year after the incident even took place.

Also, for each sexting picture seen, your child will face an additional 5 years in prison (or so I’ve heard). Sexting is regarded to as child pornography. Kids are getting listed as sex offenders because of this.

I guess you’re fine with this website connoting that sexting isn’t a big deal, but you’re wrong to think that really. If anything, I’d hope a site for gay teenagers would talk about the dangers of sexting, rather than saying your opinion that you can’t believe they’d report about this language so that parents may stop a possible disaster waiting to happen. I’m 17 and even I realize this.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I realize how seriously this is TREATED. But in large part, I blame media hype for creating the situation, rather than the situation itself. The fact that teens can get labeled sex offenders for sending each other consensual sex related text messages is a serious problem. You can read what I have to say about “sexting” for more info. Plus, regardless of the issues surrounding the so-called sexting issue, I still think that headline was pretty funny. Thanks for reading!
