Were There Any Challenges?
My twin did not handle the news so well. At first he thought it was a joke, then he got really upset when I told him I wsn't joking. He freaked and started crying and yelling at me. He Is not homophobic but he just couldn't handle the thought of a gay brother. We haven't talked about it since and I feel awful everytime I think about that.
Advice
- My advice: not everyone will react positively. Don't rush into coming out. Tell a close friend if you need to talk to someone!
- My twin had a reaction that scared me out of being gay for two months. I'm still dreading coming out to my dad:(
