Just yesterday, it looked like the Boy Scouts of America might finally vote out their archaic rule banning gay scouts and scout leaders.
But as CNN reports:
"The board had been expected to vote Wednesday on a proposal to let local groups set their own policies, but said instead that it needs more time to get comment on the issue from its members."
According to the organization, that time won't be until at least May.
I was in the Boy Scouts. I am Gay. I had a friend with me I grown up with. we must around. It would have been nice to have a older person to talk about being Gay. I had a hard time with it. I was afraid what people would say or do if they know. I was ten when my mom found me in the closet trying to hang myself. now I am trying to talk to younger boys that are Gay. I found a web. they are from all over. Xanga.com young Gay. There is tomany. trying to do the same as I did. we have alot of young people killing them selfs, for what ? I had one that was a christen and Gay didn’t no what to do.God put him in my path. Talk him to read a book.
