Maybe someone called you an anti-gay slur. Maybe your parents refused to believe you were actually a lesbian. Maybe you were thinking about suicide. Maybe you got into a fight with a friend, or got dragged to an anti-gay church. Maybe you were just feeling sad.

Whatever the issue, talking to someone can be a big help. But what if there is no one in your circle who you can confide in? This can be a big problem, especially if you haven't come out yet.

So you might want to know about something called the GLBT National Help Center's Youth Helpline (1-800-246-PRIDE).  The line is open to youth up to 25 and it is staffed by volunteers 18 to 25 years-old. So the next time you are feeling like you have no one to talk to, maybe you should pick up the phone, and give the Talkline a try.
