Ever since a video of an a Connecticut church performing an "exorcism" on a gay teen turned up on YouTube last summer, the topic has been getting some coverage.
Last week, Tyra got into the act, bringing a 16-year-old "ex-gay" on to her show. The teen made a rather unconvincing argument for the effectiveness of his exorcism. (You can check out clips here). And while you couldn't help but feel bad for the guy, and worry that there would be fallout as a result of his TV appearance, at least the episode did a good job of highlighting just how off base claims of anti-gay remedies are.
