Ugly Betty's America Ferrera: No on 8

More and more celebrities have come out against California's Proposition 8. The latest to do so is Ugly Betty's America Ferrera.

Gay marriage is currently legal in California. But if this proposition passes that could change! Same sex marriage will be illegal, and a new section will be added to the California constitution stating that "only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California."

Ferrera recently appeared on Spanish language TV where she urged viewers to vote against the proposition, saying, "It changes our constitution, eliminates fundamental rights, and treats people differently under the law."
