So often the image that you get of gay and lesbian life is really an urban view. But plenty of GLBT teens live in small towns and rural areas.

Though there are many great things about small time life, it can also be really challenging for gay teens. It might seem like you are the only gay person around and finding support can be tough.

Of course, plenty of small towns do offer support and services for gay teens, and even if they don't, the fact that you live in the age of the internet, gives you a way to connect with other teens in your situation.
