Sexualizing GLBT Teens: A Rant

I'll admit it, I'm easily irritated. But seriously, the fact that I add terms like "gay teens," "bisexual teens," "lesbian teens," and transgender teens" to my Google alerts is not because I want notifications that yet another porno about any of these groups is availiable.

But often, that's what I get.

A lot of people get turned into sex objects. But this seems to happen to gay teens disproportionately. That's one of the reasons it's important to remember that being GLBT is about a lot more than sex.

In fact, plenty of gay people aren't even sexually active, Just like a lot of hetero folks.
