A gay teen couple were just voted Homecoming Princes at their high school in Davis, California. (The guys are called "Princes because they're juniors. Only seniors compete for the title of King and Queen). Princes, Brandon Raphael and Kiernan Gatewood have been together for four months.

Stories like these remind me that while I can blog about a hate crimes against a gay teen one day, the next day I will discover something like this and be reminded about how far we've come!
