Another Hate Crime Against a Gay Teen

I really look forward to the day when I am surprised to read about anti-GLBT hate crimes. Sadly, that day is not today. This week a 14-year-old boy in a group home in the Catskills region of New York was beaten by other residents for being gay.

The assailants are being charged with hate crimes.

There is no word yet on whether or not the victim will have to return to the same group home, though it is encouraging to see that the attack is being taken seriously by the police.
